Up for sale, a Aria Pro II PE-85R electric guitar in perfect working order, loaded with a pair of USA-made Seymour Duncan zebra bobbin humbuckers. An elegantly crafted spin on the classic LP design produced in Japan and rarely seen outside its country of origin, this PE-85R features a traditional tonewood combination with a carved two-piece figured maple top, mahogany body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard.

The body's radical and ergonomic shape is very player-friendly, with heel-less neck construction, a belly cut, and recessed controls on the carved top. The instrument has a clear, rich natural response which translates well through the Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The SH-2 Jazz neck pickup is full and bright with smooth sustain, wound in the mold of the classic PAF. The bridge position TB-6 Duncan Distortion is tailored for high gain and tight percussive riffs, retaining ultra clear pickup attack for blazing-fast lead work. Weighing 8lbs 3oz, this Aria Pro II has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The maple neck has a very slender, fast-feeling C-shaped profile carve with moderate shoulder, measuring .795” deep at the 1st fret and .899” at the 12th. The thick slab rosewood fretboard has a 12” radius, featuring pearloid block inlay and pristine medium jumbo fretwire. The guitar plays well in all registers up the straight neck with an ideally adjusted truss rod. Dimensions familiar to any Les Paul purist, the scale length measures 24 3/4“, and the bone nut is 1 11/16“ in width. The headstock features a set of "Made in Japan" branded gold Gotoh tuners with metal tulip buttons.

On the body, the electronics work as they should, with individual Volume and Tone knobs for each Seymour Duncan humbucker. The hardware includes a Nashville-style tune-o-matic-style bridge and corresponding stopbar with some wear through the gold plating. The top is elegantly dished around the controls, and the amber speed knobs have ridged tops for easy gripping. The Tobacco Sunburst gloss finish highlights consistent curly flame figuring across the cap, and cosmetic wear is limited to light finish scratches and small dings across the back, and a few additional minor marks adjacent to the switch. The gloss finish on the neck profile is smooth and clean.

A gigbag is included.
