Up for sale, a 2026 Fender Traditional ‘60s Jazzmaster in excellent condition, complete with hangtags. This limited run Jazzmaster features a sleek Black Pearl finish with matching headstock and gold hardware throughout, designed to offer “an elegant and refined sense of luxury.” Only intended for sale to the Japanese domestic audience and select international markets, this Jazzmaster was sourced direct from Tokyo.
This Traditional Jazzmaster has plenty of sparkle and percussive cut on tap, with a range of powerful and defined tones from the two single coil pickups. Engaging the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn yields warmer, wooly sounds. Lightweight at 6lbs 13oz, this Traditional ‘60s Jazzmaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments, dialed in with the factory 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation (string gauge and setup can be dialed in to buyer's preference at no charge upon request).
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: U, measuring .865” 1st fret, .905” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, 9 1/2“ radius
-Frets: Slender
-Scale Length: 25 1/2"
-Nut Width: 1.615" (41mm), bone
-Tuners: Kluson-style, Gotoh
-Serialization: “Made in Japan”, JD26-prefix
Body Specs:
-Wood: Basswood
-Pickups: Vintage-Style single coil x2
-Controls: Volume x2, Tone x2 (Rhythm/Lead Circuits), Three-way pickup selector
-Harness: CTS pots
-Hardware: Bridge with threaded saddles, Pat. # Vibrato (gold-plated)
-Plastics: Three-ply black pickguard (factory protective film and advert intact), Strat-style knobs
There is a decently sized ding on the back edge at the bass-side lower bout, yet this is an otherwise unplayed instrument, without any other marks on the gloss Black Pearl finish, and the gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
The Fender-branded gigbag is included, along with the serialized hangtags.
***We are dealers for the Mastery bridge and Mastery OMV-P Vibrato (chrome-plated), and Lollar pickups, any of which can be installed or included prior to shipment for an additional charge***
