Up for sale, a 2025 Lowden F-32, like-new and complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags, outfitted with a Fishman Rare Earth Mic Blend pickup system. Handcrafted in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, Lowden guitars are among some of the finest acoustic guitars crafted in any era. This Original Series model features George Lowden’s unique signature bracing, designed to deliver Lowden’s distinctive “full, warm, and dynamically responsive” sound, and The F shape is Lowden’s medium size, with a 15 7/8“ lower bout width. This particular model has been outfitted with a Fishman Rare Earth Mic Blend active soundhole pickup.
Weighing 4lbs 13oz, tonewoods include a Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, and a five-piece mahogany/rosewood neck capped by an ebony fingerboard. This guitar offers ample projection with a complex, layered quality to the sound that blooms as notes sustain, particularly responsive to picking dynamics with a touch of natural compression when digging in hard with a flatpick. The ebony fingerboard provides glassy cut and articulation, with excellent string-to-string definition, smooth low end, and sparkling trebles.
