Up for sale, a 2024 Guild D-55E in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This premium iteration of Guild’s flagship acoustic is designed to faithfully capture the spirit and tone of the 1960s original. Proudly made in the USA, this D-55E is outfitted from the factory with an L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup.

The solid AAA Sitka top features scalloped Adirondack spruce X-bracing, custom designed by Ren Ferguson, with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, a two-piece mahogany neck, and a bound ebony fingerboard. The dreadnought body shape has a distinctive brilliance and woody, percussive cut. Offering prodigious projection, the wound strings are round and bold, while the plain strings have great clarity and sparkling punch. The L.R. Baggs Anthem combines a microphone with the Element undersaddle transducer, yielding the warmth and fidelity of a studio-mic’d guitar and faithfully capturing the true sonic color of the instrument, with a preamp and Volume and Mix (mic/undersaddle transducer) wheels at the soundhole. This D-55E weighs 4lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.
