Up for sale, a 2024 Fender Traditional II Late ‘60s Jazz Bass in mint condition, complete with hangtags. This rare “Made in Japan” FSR (Factory Special Run) model was produced in very limited quantities for a single dealer in Japan, Ikebe Gakki, featuring a gloss Vintage White finish with matching headstock, dark red tortoise pickguard, bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlay, “ashtray” bridge and pickup covers, and reproductions of Fender’s “lollipop” tuning machines.
The JB-Vintage single coil pickups deliver an array of traditional Jazz Bass tones, with more upper midrange growl, burp and grind from the bridge pickup, while the neck pickup can offer smoother, broader sounds and sweet thump. This Traditional II Late ‘60s Jazz Bass weighs 8lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

Sourced directly from Tokyo, this is an ostensibly brand new instrument, without a mark on the gloss Vintage White finish. Unique from earlier FSR runs of the Late 60s model, the Vintage White gloss approximates Olympic White with a yellowed clear coat for a decidedly vintage look. The gloss on the neck profile is similarly flawless.
The Fender-branded gigbag and hangtags are included.
