Up for sale, a 2024 Fender Traditional II 60s Jaguar in mint condition, complete with the original hangtags. Ostensibly new and imported directly from Tokyo, this FSR (Factory Special Run) example was made in extremely small quantities for a single dealer, featuring a gloss Dakota Red finish with matching headstock.
A reinvention of Fender Japan's Jaguar platform, the new Traditional II 60s model features a basswood body, revoiced Vintage Style Jaguar pickups, as well as USA-spec CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and USA Fender plastic parts. Tonally, this Jag does everything a good Fender should, and these pickups dish out plenty of sparkling cut in the top end, with a slightly aggressive chime and sinewy snarl that sets this model apart. The neck pickup has a balanced, sweet sound with great clarity for strummed passages and fat lead lines. Engage the Rhythm Circuit for even darker, meatier tones (great for use with fuzz pedals) or click on the "strangle" switch in the Lead Circuit for even thinner tic-tac sounds. This guitar weighs 7lbs 11oz, setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments, featuring the factory 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation (string gauge and setup can be dialed in to buyer's preference at no charge upon request).
