Up for sale, a 2024 Fender Made in Japan Hokusai Art Canvas Esquire “Nami” in mint condition, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. Produced in very limited quantities to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Fender Japan flagship store in Tokyo, the lottery-only Hokusai Art Canvas Esquire series feature select artwork from Katsushika Hokusai’s masterwork “Fugaji Sanjurokkei” (36 View of Mt. Fuji) series. This particular model sports a print of the iconic “The Great Wave off Kanagawa."
With an ash body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, this Esquire weighs 8lbs 10oz. At the heart of this model is an American Vintage '58 Esquire/Tele bridge pickup, coupled to a three-way Tone switch and offering plenty of chewy twang and sparkling single coil cut.
