Up for sale, a 2024 Fender Hybrid II Telecaster FSR Collection in like-new, 100% original condition, complete with hangtags. An FSR (Factory Special Run) model produced for a single dealer in Japan, Shimokura Musical Instruments, this Hybrid II Telecaster features a custom color Jasper Olive Metallic gloss finish with matching headstock.
The Hybrid II model is one of the finest Tele iterations ever produced by Fender Japan (and a model not available in the USA market), stunning in its forward thinking design and player-friendly features. Premium specs include Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coil pickups, USA-spec CTS pots, compensated brass saddles, locking tuners, a bone nut, and narrow/tall fretwire. The Modern C neck shape has a satin profile finish and 22 fret slab rosewood fretboard with a modern 9 1/2" radius. The Hybrid II Custom Voiced pickups deliver ample chewy twang and sparkle in the bridge position, with a sweet, bell-like neck pickup and a very welcome fourth position on the blade switch, engaging both pickups in series for a particularly big and bold sound. Lightweight at 7lbs, this Hybrid II Telecaster FSR has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
