Up for sale, a 2024 Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazzmaster in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, upgraded with a Spitfire pickguard (a $300+ value) and complete with the original hardshell case, CoA, and hangtags. This Jazzmaster is an exceedingly faithful recreation of production in ‘66, featuring a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl block inlays, a pair of Pure Vintage ‘66 pickups, and a gloss three-tone Sunburst nitro lacquer finish.
Traditional tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard. Fender’s Pure Vintage ‘66 single coils feature alnico magnets, vintage gray fiber bobbin construction and cloth-covered leads, delivering an array of powerful and defined tones. The neck position is smooth and broad, with an articulate top end response matched by ample bass, particularly when engaging the Rhythm Circuit. The bridge position is snappy and immediate, yielding plenty of breadth and shimmer.
