Up for sale, a 2023 Tom Anderson T Icon in like-new, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, spec sheet, and case candy. Spec’d in direct collaboration with Tom Anderson Guitarworks, and notable for being hand-signed by Tom Anderson himself, this T-Icon has a number of unique features including a shorter 24 ¾” scale length and chambered alder body with sculpted front/back contours, Buzz Feiten Tuning System, V-Quiet hum-canceling switching, TV Series pickups, and a gloss Metallic Ice Blue finish.
Tom Anderson guitars have a decades long well-earned reputation for no-corners-cut quality and master workmanship, appearing in the hands of artists including Carlos Santana, Keith Richards, and Kirk Hammett, to name just a few. The chambered body construction delivers great natural resonance and chime, and this guitar is featherweight at 5lbs 8oz. The pickups comprise a TV7 at the neck and a TV7+ at the bridge: these vintage-flavored Tele single coils are full-bodied and punchy, with an ideal balance of roundness and articulation to the trebles. The bridge has a focused twang, while the neck is broad and smooth, and these pickups are specifically phased for the V-Quiet system, a passive wiring configuration designed to ensure as little hum as possible. This T Icon has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
