Up for sale, a 2023 Paul Reed Smith Myles Kennedy signature in like-new condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original padded gigbag and hangtags. Designed in collaboration with frequent Slash collaborator/Alter Bridge frontman Kennedy, this PRS is an ideal hybrid of vintage-inspired aesthetics and modern features, boasting locking tuners, a plate-style steel bridge with brass barrel saddles, Narrowfield MK humbuckers, and a nitro lacquer Antique Natural finish.
Tonewoods comprise a swamp ash body, maple neck, and 22-fret maple fretboard, featherweight at 6lbs 15oz. The PRS Narrowfield MK pickups were carefully voiced to capture the warmth and fullness of humbuckers with the spank and snap of single coils, delivering “thick single-coil sounds without the hum.” There are distinct sounds at each position on the five-way pickup selector switch (coil tapped at positions 2 and 4), and the push/pull Preset Tone Roll-off at the Tone knob darkens the bridge pickup and adds further richness to the signal (functional in positions 1-4). This Myles Kennedy signature has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
