Up for sale, a 2023 Gibson Exclusive Run SG Standard in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. This SG Standard is loaded with 490R/490T humbuckers, featuring an uncommon gloss Walnut nitro lacquer finish.
Weighing 6lbs 8oz, the all-mahogany construction results in great natural midrange warmth and growl, qualities faithfully captured by the humbucker pair. The pair of 490R/490T humbuckers have plenty of power on tap, featuring Alnico II construction; this pickup is Gibson’s Modern Classic humbucker, similar in its response to a PAF, yet with more midrange emphasis. The neck pickup is smooth and gutsy, while the bridge has muscle and detail. This SG Standard benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
