Up for sale, a 2023 G&L JB-4 bass in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A USA-made iteration of the JB platform (produced at the G&L factory on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, CA), this made to order bass features a pair of Leo Fender-designed G&L single coil pickups, a Saddle-Lock bridge, and a gloss Fullerton Red finish.
As the third instrument company founded by Leo Fender, G&L's instruments benefit from Leo's decades of experience at Music Man and (of course) Fender. Tonewoods include an alder body with a rock maple neck and a maple cap fingerboard. The Alnico 5 pickups deliver potent lows with plenty of burp and growl on tap. This JB-4 weighs 9lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
