Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Traditional II ‘70s Telecaster Thinline in near-mint, 100% original condition, complete with hangtags. This “Made in Japan” Telecaster Thinline faithfully captures the look and feel of a genuine ‘70s example, featuring a semi-hollow ash body and a one-piece maple neck, a string-through-body hardtail bridge, and a pair of Wide Range humbuckers.
The semi-hollow ash body yields both midrange punch and an airy, open resonance, providing an ideal platform for the Wide Range humbuckers. Based on Seth Lover’s original design, these pickups are fat and full-sounding while retaining a distinctive top end sweetness and crisp articulation, often considered a sort of tonal middle ground between traditional Fender single coil twang and full-on humbucker richness and warmth. Weighing 6lbs 11oz, this Telecaster Thinline has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
