Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Traditional II 60s Jazz Bass in near-mint condition complete with hangtags. Featuring a gloss Lake Placid Blue finish and a slab rosewood fretboard, this “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass is uncommon outside its country of origin, designed to be sold only within Japan and to select international territories.
The bridge pickup offers power, burp, and presence that ensures a Jazz Bass cuts through in ensemble situations, and it's easy to dial in the right amount of midrange growl and fundamental thump when balancing the sound between the two single coils. The tone can get quite smooth and wide too, simply by rolling off the bridge pickup Volume and Master Tone control, for a thick sound that doesn't lack definition. Lightweight at 8lbs 3oz, this Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action and accurate intonation.
