Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Traditional II 60s Jaguar FSR in mint condition and perfect working order, complete with the hangtags and gigbag. Ostensibly new and ordered direct from Tokyo, this FSR (Factory Special Run) example has a Shell Pink custom color finish and matching headstock. Made exclusively for a single dealer in Japan (Rockin), this Jaguar model is virtually unseen outside its country of origin.

A reinvention of Fender Japan's Jaguar platform, the new Traditional II 60s model features a basswood body, revoiced Vintage Style Jaguar pickups, as well as USA-made CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and USA Fender plastic parts. Tonally, this Jag does everything a good Fender should, and these pickups dish out plenty of sparkling cut in the top end, with a slightly aggressive chime and sinewy snarl that sets this model apart. The neck pickup has a balanced, sweet sound with great clarity for strummed passages and fat lead lines. Engage the Rhythm Circuit for even darker, meatier tones (great for use with fuzz pedals) or click on the "strangle" switch in the Lead Circuit for even thinner tic-tac sounds. This guitar weighs 8lbs 5oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with factory 9-42 roundwound strings, low action and accurate intonation (string gauge and setup can be adjusted to buyer preference prior to shipment).

The maple neck has a chunky medium depth U-shaped profile carve with particularly round shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .860" deep at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th. The thick rosewood fretboard features pearl dot inlays and flawless slender vintage-spec fretwire on the 24" scale. The neck is straight, and the truss rod is responsive and optimally adjusted. The fretboard radius measures 9 1/2", and the nut is 1 9/16" in width. The headstock features a matching Shell Pink gloss finish, fitted with Gotoh, Kluson-style tuning machines.

The electronics include individual on/off switches for each pickup on the Lead Circuit, in addition to the bass cut (or "strangle switch") on/off toggle and Master Volume and Tone knobs. The Rhythm Circuit has its own pair of Volume and Tone wheels in addition to the on/off toggle switch that engages this circuit, which adds a darker tone cap exclusively for use on the neck pickup. The vibrato unit is smooth and responsive, actuating easily for surfy warbles and dives. The chrome-plated hardware and plastic parts are perfect, with a mint green pickguard accenting the gloss Shell Pink finish. The guitar is showroom clean without a scratch on it, and the neck profile is flawless.

The Fender-branded gigbag is included, along with the hangtags.
