Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Traditional ‘60s Jazz Bass in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. With a gloss Aged Sherwood Green finish exclusive to the '23 collection, this model is not otherwise available to the USA market and was sourced direct from Tokyo.
The bridge pickup has the power, burp, and presence that ensures a Jazz Bass cuts through in ensemble situations, and it's easy to dial in the right amount of midrange growl and fundamental thump when balancing the sound between the two single coils. The tone can get quite smooth and wide too, simply by rolling off the bridge pickup Volume and Master Tone control, for a thick sound that doesn't lack definition. This Traditional ‘60s Jazz Bass weighs 8lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Medium U, measuring .830” 1st fret, .955” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood slab, modern 9 ½” radius
-Frets: Slender, no wear
-Scale Length: 34”
-Nut: 1 1/2", bone
-Tuners: Clover buttons
-Serialization: “Made in Japan,” JD23-prefix
