Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Hybrid II Telecaster FSR Collection in near-mint, 100% original condition, complete with hangtags. An FSR (Factory Special Run) model produced for a single dealer in Tokyo, Guitar Planet, this Hybrid II Telecaster features a custom color Burgundy Mist Metallic gloss finish with matching headstock. This particular Hybrid II Telecaster has been modified with a traditional control configuration (with angled pickup selector switch) and “rimless” bridge base.
The Hybrid II model is one of the finest Tele iterations ever produced by Fender Japan (and a model not available in the USA market), stunning in its forward thinking design and player-friendly features. Premium specs include Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coil pickups, USA-spec CTS pots, compensated brass saddles, a bone nut, and narrow/tall fretwire, with a Modern C neck shape, 22 fret slab rosewood fretboard with a 9 1/2" radius, and a satin neck profile finish. The Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coil pickups deliver ample chewy twang and sparkle on tap in the bridge position, with a sweet, bell-like neck pickup. Featherweight at 6lbs 14oz, this Hybrid II Telecaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
