Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Hybrid II Telecaster in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with hangtags. Imported directly from Tokyo, this FSR (Factory Special Run) model was produced in exceedingly small quantities, featuring a gloss custom color Charcoal Frost Metallic finish with matching peghead.
The Hybrid II model is one of the finest Tele iterations ever produced by Fender Japan (and a model not available in the USA market), forward thinking in its design with numerous player-friendly features. Premium spec includes Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coil pickups, parallel/series switching, USA-spec CTS pots, a bone nut, narrow/tall fretwire, and locking tuners. The neck is designed for today's guitarist as well, boasting a Modern C shape, 22 fret rosewood fretboard with a 9 1/2" radius, and a satin finish.
The Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coil pickups deliver ample chewy twang and sparkle in the bridge position, with a sweet, bell-like neck pickup and a very welcome 4th position on the blade switch, engaging both pickups in series for a particularly big and bold sound. This Hybrid II Telecaster FSR weighs 7lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
