Made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this FSR (Factory Special Run) model was produced for a single dealer, Guitar Planet, and sourced direct from Tokyo, featuring a satin Lake Placid Blue finish with matching headstock.
This Hybrid II series Strat is an ideal combination of classic aesthetics and modern, player-friendly features. Premium appointments include a two-point vibrato, locking tuners, USA-spec CTS pots, a Modern C neck profile, a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9 1/2“ radius and narrow/tall fretwire.
The Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coils feature staggered, beveled alnico pole pieces, specifically voiced to accentuate the best qualities of each pickup position. The bridge is sparkling and clear, with a touch of extra low end kick, the neck pickup is throaty and full, and the “in-between” positions on the five-way selector switch deliver quintessential hollow Strat quack.
