Up for sale, an XTS Echomachine delay in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original box. This digital tape echo features a vintage circuit from an Ibanez Soundtank EM5 Echomachine, rehoused by the XTS Custom Shop in a rugged, powder-coated enclosure and modded with a Modulation circuit.
The original Ibanez EM5 is widely considered to be among the finest digital tape machine simulation pedals ever; released in the ‘90s as part of the Soundtank series, it effectively captured the warm, natural-sounding feel of a vintage tape machine with none of the sterile coldness that often plagues digital simulators. This modified XTS Echomachine expands on the original circuit with a Modulation control, enabling the user to dial up the warped, deteriorating weirdness of genuine worn-in tape machine.
The rugged enclosure is a step up from the original plastic Soundtank housing; this pedal is in great shape, with just a scant few faint marks on it, and the graphics are pristine. The inside of the enclosure is dated to 3-22-22.
The original cardboard box is included.
