Up for sale, a 2022 Rickenbacker 4003 CB in near-mint condition, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. Finished in Satin Autunmglo and framed by checkerboard binding (CB model suffix), this model was limited to less than 50 instruments total, spanning two tiny production runs from 2022-23. The finish differed slightly between the two runs, with this early example presents closer to a two-tone Montezuma Brown.

This instrument boasts maple neck-through construction with a bound rosewood fingerboard, yielding healthy sustain and an immediate, resonant quality channeled through the Hi-Gain pickup pair. These single coils have a distinctive midrange heft and tonal color, with plenty of growl and low end richness. The push/pull Tone knob engaged a capacitor that filters bass response from the signal for a more present, focused sound associated with '70s Rics.
