The alder body was carefully selected for its resonance, delivering the balance and full-bodied chime, resulting in an ideal platform for the pair of Gold Foil mini-humbuckers. Custom-voiced and hand-wound, these mini humbuckers have the same clarity, jangle, and kick as a set of genuine vintage pickups, with lively, vital tones at each position on the three-way pickup selector switch: the bridge is punchy, with a tight, snappy low end response, and the neck pickup is broad and smooth, still yielding plenty of sparkle and articulation.
