2022 Fender Traditional II 50s Telecaster Fiesta Red, Near-Mint w/ Hangtags, Japan MIJ

+ shipping

Up for sale, a 2022 Fender Traditional ‘50s Telecaster in like-new condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original gigbag and hangtags. This “Made in Japan” Telecaster is a discontinued model, finished in custom color Fiesta Red and rare outside its country of origin.

The tonewood complement includes a basswood body and a one-piece maple neck, and this Tele has plenty of natural chime and brightness. The "Vintage-Style" pickup pair offers ample twang at the bridge and a rounder, bell-like tone at the neck, with a clear percussive cut in every position on the three-way toggle. Weighing 7lbs 8oz, this Tele benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple
-Shape: U-shaped, measuring .860” 1st fret, .920” 12th fret.
-Fretboard: Maple, rolled edge, 9 1/2" modern radius
-Frets: Slender, no wear
-Scale Length: 25 1/2"
-Nut Width: 1 5/8", bone
-Tuners: Kluson-style
-Serialization: JD22-prefix on back of peghead

Body Specs:

-Wood: Basswood
-Pickups: "Vintage Style" Telecaster single coil pair
-Hardware: Bridge with brass saddles, knurled domed knobs

While conservatively "near-mint," there's barely a scratch on the custom color gloss Fiesta Red body finish. The smooth gloss finish on the neck profile is equally pristine.

The original Fender-branded gigbag is included, along with the hangtags.
