Up for sale, a 2022 Fender Limited Edition American Performer Mustang Bass in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, finished in an uncommon and discontinued Honey Burst satin. This highly versatile iteration of the Mustang Bass platform features a PJ pickup design and modern, player-friendly touches including a satin neck finish, medium jumbo fretwire and a 9 1/2“ fretboard radius.
Weighing 8lbs, tonewoods include an alder body and maple neck, and this bass is loaded with a pair of Fender’s Yosemite pickups. These pickups feature flat pole Alnico V magnets, and the pickup coils are shellac-coated to mitigate any unwanted feedback. The split-coil Precision pickup has an expressive, well-defined voice that’s highly musical and dynamic, while the Jazz bridge pickup offers more growl and burp with a defined upper midrange. Additionally, the Greasebucket Tone knob sculpts the signal without losing treble detail. This Limited Edition American Performer Mustang Bass has been professionally set up here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with La Bella 760F-MUS 43-104 flatwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
