Up for sale, a 2022 Fender Junior Collection Telecaster in near-mint condition and in perfect working order. This limited run Made in Japan Telecaster features a shorter 24” scale length and a fractionally scaled-down body finished in satin Vintage White.
Featherweight at just 6lbs 7oz, this Tele has a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard. The body is 94% the size of a standard Telecaster with a belly carve for additional comfort. The “Junior Collection Modified” single coil pickups deliver a bevy of classic Tele tonalities with twang in the bridge position and bell-like cut at the neck. This Tele has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
The maple neck has Fender’s Modern C shape, a moderately slender carve with full shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .820” deep at the 1st fret and .945” at the 12th. The slab rosewood fretboard has a modern 9 1/2" radius with narrow tall fretwire that shows just a touch of wear on the crowns of frets 1-7, playing effortlessly up the straight neck and truncated 24" scale length. The bone nut measures 1.650” (42mm) in width, and the headstock features Kluson-style tuning machines
All of the electronics function as intended, with a standard Tele control configuration, and the chrome-plated hardware shines like new, including the flat-topped knurled knobs, control plate, and “Pat. Pend” bridge with six individual barrel saddles. The Satin Vintage White finish is accented by a pale mint green pickguard, exhibiting just a scant few tiny nicks and scuffs on the body as a whole. The satin finish on the neck profile is immaculate.
A gigbag is included.
