An exacting Custom Shop iteration of Clapton's personal axe, this Strat features a satin-finished soft V neck shape, 22 fret maple fingerboard, Vintage Noiseless pickups, active 25 dB Mid-Boost circuitry, TBX Tone control, and a gloss custom color (very dark) Mercedes Blue finish.

The guitar is acoustically resonant, with a lively, balanced tone from the select alder body and one-piece maple neck that translates well though the Vintage Noiseless pickups. These single coils have a sparkling response and hum-free performance, and each position on the five-way switch yields a distinct tone, from bridge pickup bite to great warmth and bell-like chime in the neck position. This guitar weighs 7lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
