Up for sale, a 2022 Fender American Ultra Stratocaster in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original molded hardshell case, CoA, and case candy. Among Fender’s most forward-thinking Stratocaster models ever produced, the Ultra has a bevy of versatile, player-friendly features including a Noiseless HSS pickup complement, Modern D neck profile with rolled fingerboard edges and a satin finish, a 10-14” compound fretboard radius, medium jumbo fretwire, locking tuners, two-point vibrato, and a brownish-black metallic finish christented "Texas Tea" accented by an anodized gold aluminum pickguard.
Featuring the traditional tonewood complement of an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, this American Ultra Strat weighs 8lbs 1oz. Pickups include two Ultra Noiseless Hot single coils and an Ultra Double Tap humbucker: the Noiseless Hot single coils feature a stacked coil design for (as the name would suggest) hum-free performance, with a notably lively and open-sounding tone, and their overwound design stands up well to high levels of distortion with no unwanted brittleness. The Double Tap humbucker, developed by pickup guru Tim Shaw, features a PAF-style design tailored specifically to deliver full-throated humbucking tonalities while minimizing volume loss when in single coil mode, engaged via an S-1 push/push button concealed at the Volume knob. This Ultra Strat was professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and spot-on intonation.
