Up for sale, a 2021 Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier head in showroom-clean condition and in perfect working order, complete with the six-button footswitch, slip cover and user manual. A near ubiquitous presence in the world of modern rock, Dual Rectifiers are known for their expert construction, monster tones, and vast array of tonal sculpting controls. This recent iteration of the Dual Rectifier platform is among the most advanced, featuring improved Clean and Pushed modes in Channel 1, improved modes in Channel 2 and 3, and a more soulful touch-sensitive quality in the RAW setting (unique to this model), which yields thicker layers of harmonics and more liquid gain in Vintage mode and tighter gut-punching attack in Modern. The six-button footswitch enables easy toggling between the channels, with Tuner Mute, FX Loop, and Solo buttons on the top row.
Each Channel features an Independent Style Mode Switch, 50/100 Multi-Watt Switch, Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass, Presence, and Master knobs, along with Assignable Dual Rectification with Recto Tracking, a patented Mesa technology that auto-matches the correct Rectifier compliment for the number of Power Tubes in use. The Variac PowerSwitch enables toggling between Bold and Spongy, and the True-Bypass switch removes the FX Loop, Output, & Solo Level controls for a purer tone. The Mesa-branded tube complement comprises a matched quartet of 6L6 power tubes, two 5U4 rectifier tubes, and a quintet of 12AX7s in the preamp section.
The cabinet is crafted from marine-grade Baltic birch, and cosmetic touches include a diamond-stamped metal faceplate, dome-top knurled knobs, and black bronco vinyl tolex. There's barely a scratch on the amp.
