Up for sale, a 2021 Ibanez AZ24047 Prestige 7 string in near mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtag. The Prestige series combines high-tech manufacturing techniques with old-world Japanese craftsmanship in order to achieve true innovation in design and construction. The AZ series is noted for its versatility, with a pickup complement designed to handle everything from the warmest blues licks to the most intense, shred-heavy metal riffs. Carrying this ethos forward, the AZ line embodies time-tested Ibanez innovation and boasts player-focused features like stainless steel frets, a well-balanced asymmetrical body shape, and a contoured neck heel for unrivaled playability.Tonewoods include a solid alder body paired with a roasted maple neck, and the S-TECH special roasted treatment increases the maple's stability, durability, water resistance and tolerance to temperature changes. The result yields superior note attack, a well-balanced tone, and rich sustain. The stock Seymour Duncan HSS Hyperion pickup configuration offers a range of bold, commanding tonalities, and the “dyna-MIX 9” mini-toggle switch allows for a total of nine pickup configurations including series/parallel options. Weighing 7lbs 12oz, this Ibanez has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with slinky action and accurate intonation. The roasted maple neck features Ibanez's "Oval C" profile carve with good shoulder and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .805” deep at the 1st fret and .880” at the 12th. The slab maple 24 fret fingerboard features Luminlay side dot markers and pristine stainless steel fretwire. The guitar plays cleanly in every position up the straight neck with a 12“ fretboard radius and easy access to the highest registers thanks to the contoured heel. The scale is a full 25 1/2“, and the nut measures 1 13/16“ in width. The headstock features a set of chrome Gotoh MG-T locking tuners. The electronics work as they should, with a five-way pickup selector switch, dyna-MIX 9 mini toggle, and Master Volume and Tone controls for the Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups. The chrome hardware is flawless, and the black plastic parts are like-new, with just a hint of faint pick scuffing mostly at the treble side of the black three-ply pickguard. The T1872S tremolo features machined titanium saddles and a steel tremolo block for a quick response, thick lows and rich highs. Cosmetic wear on Black gloss finish is limited to a stray tiny mark at the treble-side waist edge. The maple neck sports a flawless satin oil finish. The original hardshell case and hangtag are included.
