Up for sale, a 2021 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom "Demo" model in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, CoA, and bill of sale. This Les Paul Custom is a premier model, crafted in the Gibson Custom Shop, and this particular instrument was sold as a "Demo," indicating its status as a guitar offered direct to consumer. According to Gibson, this umbrella term includes one-of-a-kind Gibson prototypes, floor models guitars, pre-played artist models and Gibson mods.
Traditional tonewoods include a mahogany body with a carved two-piece maple top, mahogany neck, and bound ebony fingerboard, and this Les Paul Custom weighs 9lbs 11oz. Via the 490R and 498T humbucker pair, the guitar has plenty of power on tap, and these alnico magnet pickups cover a wide tonal range. The 490R is Gibson's Modern Classic humbucker, featuring Alnico II magnets and similar in its response to a PAF, yet with more midrange emphasis. The 498T Hot Alnico bridge position pickup has Alnico V magnets, with plenty of muscle and growl, well-suited for high gain scenarios. This Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
