Up for sale, a 2021 Fender Hybrid II Telecaster in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with hangtags. This Japan-exclusive limited edition Tele was produced in small quantities to celebrate Fender’s 75th anniversary, featuring a Metallic 3-Color Sunburst finish. The Hybrid II model is one of the finest Tele iterations ever produced by Fender Japan (and a model not available in the USA market even in its standard production runs), simply stunning in its forward thinking design and player-friendly features including Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coil pickups, parallel/series switching, USA-spec CTS pots, brass saddles, a bone nut, narrow/tall fretwire, and a smooth satin neck finish.
Weighing 8lbs 7oz, tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The Hybrid II Custom Voiced single coil pickups deliver a bevy of quintessential Tele tonalities; there's ample chewy twang and sparkle on tap in the bridge position, with a sweet, bell-like neck pickup and a very welcome 4th position on the blade switch, engaging both pickups in series for a particularly big and bold sound. This Hybrid II Tele has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
