Up for sale, a 2021 Fender Heritage 50s Precision Bass in showroom-clean condition and in perfect working order, complete with all hangtags. Sourced brand new directly from Toyko, this Heritage Series Precision Bass was designed in conjunction with Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Mark Kendrick, using profiling data from Fender USA for vintage-spec body and neck profile carves. This retooled top-tier Fender Japan model stands toe to toe with the American Vintage and Original lines.

Tonewoods include an alder body and one-piece maple neck, finished in high gloss nitro lacquer and yielding a notably broad, deep natural acoustic tone. The split coil black bobbin pickup with raised A pole pieces matches spec for 1957-58, and the bass offers plenty of broad, muscly growl and pillowy thump, delivering the articulation and treble detail afforded the maple fretboard. Extremely lightweight at only 8lbs 1oz, this Precision Bass is strung with the factory fresh 45-105 rondwound strings, with the setup further dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, ensuring easy-playing action and accurate intonation.

The one-piece maple neck has a light speckling of birdseye figuring on the profile and fretboard, highlighted by the gloss lacquer finish. The neck has a medium C-shaped profile carve with round, inviting shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .830" deep at the 1st fret and 1.005" at the 12th. The maple fretboard has a vintage spec 7 1/4" radius, and the slender fretwire is flawless, playing cleanly up the 34" scale. The neck is straight, and the truss rod is responsive and optimally adjusted. The bone nut measures 1 11/16" in width, and the headstock is fitted with vintage-spec clover button tuning machines with full-size baseplates and long stems.

The electronics function flawlessly, and the hardware shines like new, including the lightly domed knurled knobs, bridge with threaded saddles, and gold anodized aluminum pickguard. Purchased new and imported direct from Tokyo, there are just a couple microscopic nicks and a faint finish scratch or two from light handling on the body, while the gloss on the neck profile is flawless.

The padded Fender-branded gigbag and hangtags are included.
