Up for sale, a 2021 Fender Custom Shop Super Stratocaster Elite HSS NOS in showroom-clean condition and in perfect working order, complete with the COA, all factory paperwork and case candy, and the original Custom Shop G&G hardshell case. This exquisite, one-off Custom Shop offering elevates the American Elite Super Strat platform, featuring a two-piece Alder body and AAA roasted flame maple neck with a modern "D" profile and 10-14" compound fretboard radius. The HSS pickup configuration includes Fender's Ultra Double Tap "Shawbucker" Humbucker, with a pair of Ultra Noiseless single coils, and S-1 switching, doubling the tonal options of the five-way switch including coil tapping the humbucker.Fender’s Ultra Noiseless single coil pickups feature Alnico V magnets and a stacked design with polysol wire and proprietary winding techniques for a livelier and more expansive tone that delivers classic bell-like fullness and sparkle without 60-cycle hum. The bridge pickup is an Ultra Double Tap Shawbucker 2 (Hot) humbucker, designed by pickup guru Tim Shaw, offering ample clarity and definition with well-defined overtones and multi-dimensional harmonics. Weighing 8lbs 3oz, we've had this Custom Shop Super Strat been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.The AAA roasted flame maple neck has an Ultra Modern D profile, a medium depth carve with full shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .820” deep at the 1st fret and .870” at the 12th. The 22-fret fretboard has a 10-14” compound radius, mother of pearl dot inlay, and pristine 6105 narrow-tall fretwire. The guitar plays flawlessly up the 25 1/2" scale, with a contoured four-bolt neck plate for unencumbered access to the highest frets. The bone nut measures 1 11/16” in width, and the headstock, the "spaghetti" Stratocaster logo and Custom Shop chevron are present. There is a tiny finish chip just below the Custom Shop logo.Electronics include a traditional Volume/Tone/Tone control configuration for the HSS pickup complement, with a five-way pickup selector switch and S-1 switch on the cap of the Volume knob. The chrome-plated hardware shines like new, including the two-point vibrato with snap-in arm.The NOS Ocean Blue Metallic nitro lacquer finish has a deep, dimensional metalflake, with barely a mark on the body save for a couple microscopic dings adjacent to the input jack. The smooth gloss on the flame maple neck is flawless.The original Custom Shop G&G hardshell case with center pocket design, red plush interior, and Custom Shop embroidery is included.
