This Edwards asymmetrical V, designed in collaboration with Children of Bodom guitarist Laiho, features a number of shred-ready touches including a 24-fret ebony fingerboard, Floyd Rose FRT-1000 tremolo, an EMG HZ-H4 passive humbucker, and gloss White finish accented by black pinstriping.

The E-Scythe features three-piece hard maple neck-through construction with alder body wings, weighing 7lbs 5oz. The EMG HZ-H4 passive humbucker in the bridge position combines the power of an active 81 with the flavor of a classic PAF-style humbucker, delivering tight bass, glassy mids, and crunchy highs. This pickup features an overwound design with fully-shielded ceramic bar magnets for an ideal balance of power and noise prevention. This Alexi Laiho E-Scythe has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and spot-on intonation.
