Up for sale, a 2021 Danocaster Single Cut T-Style "White Guard" in like-new condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original padded Dano gigbag. As one of the premier relic guitar builders in the USA, Danocaster creates vintage-faithful replicas with modern, player-friendly features and a host of premium components.
Featherweight and well-balanced at 6lbs 15oz, the tonewood complement includes a one-piece maple neck with a substantial '50s-style U profile carve and and a two-piece ash body finished in relic'd Sherwood Green nitro lacquer. The pickups are a handwound set of Arcane Broadcaster single coils and via the three-way pickup selector switch these traditional alnico magnet single coils offer an array of lively and articulate sounds. The flat-pole bridge pickup is fat and hot with more output and grind than Arcane's '51 set. This pickup dishes out lively twang and cut with a sweet high treble roll off, wound to 10.5k ohms. The neck pickup has plenty of push and thickness with a bell-like chime and percussive clarity, also wound to a potent 8.42k ohms. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, this Danocaster is ready for stage and studio work.
The maple neck has a substantial U-shaped neck profile carve with lightly rolled fretboard edges and generous shoulder, measuring .900" deep at the 1st fret and .970" at the 12th. The fretboard features flawless medium jumbo fretwire, and the nut measures 1.655" in width. The headstock features aged Kluson-style tuning machines and the Danocaster logo.
On the body, the electronics function flawlessly with the Arcane pickups wired to a three-way switch and CTS 250k Master Volume and Tone pots. Hardware includes a relic'd bridge base, compensated steel saddles, a chrome control plate and flat-topped knobs. A single-ply parchment pickguard with a rounded edge accents the Sherwood Green nitro lacquer finish, and the Danocaster relic treatment comprises finish checking, simulated wear, and general weathering to faithfully approximate a lovingly played vintage instrument. The neck profile is flawless, with the nitro gloss brought back to nearly bare maple to approximate natural palm wear as part of the relic.
The Danocaster-branded heavy duty gigbag is included.
