Up for sale, a 2020 Fender Troublemaker Telecaster HH in showroom clean condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This FSR (Factory Special Run) model is now discontinued, and was only available in Japan and select international markets.Boasting a modern feature set and the premium fit and finish work for which Fender Japan is known, this Troublemaker boasts mahogany body and neck construction, and a 22 fret slab rosewood fingerboard. The Modern Modified Type II Humbuckers are wound nice and hot for authoritative cleans and thick overdrive, channeling the inherent warmth and smooth growl of the mahogany body construction. The guitar weighs 8lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action and accurate intonation. The mahogany neck has a Modern C profile carve with moderate shoulder and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .830" deep at the 1st fret and .890" at the 12th. The 22 fret rosewood fretboard has a modern 9 1/2" radius with flawless narrow/tall fretwire on the 25 1/2" scale. This Tele plays cleanly in every register with a straight neck and responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The bone nut measures 42mm (1.650") in width, and the headstock features a large '70s shape, block logo, and Deluxe tuning machines that turn smoothly and hold pitch reliably. The electronics function flawlessly, the plating on the hardware is positively gleaming, and the clear protective factory film is still present over the one-ply pickguard. There's barely a scratch on the gloss Black finish, and the satin finish on the neck profile is equally pristine. An upgrade hardshell case is included (this guitar originally shipped from Fender Japan in a gigbag).
