A first year example of this unique spin on the Stratocaster platform, the Noir model boasts a Matte Black finish with matching headstock, black nickel hardware, and a three-ply red and black pickguard with subtle graining that references Fender's anodized pickguards of the late '50s. This model was made in limited numbers exclusively for the domestic Japanese market, rarely seen outside its country of origin.
Weighing 7lbs 1oz, tonewoods comprise a basswood body, maple neck, and dark stained rosewood slab fingerboard.
