Up for sale, a 2020 Fender Japan exclusive Silent Siren signature model Jazz Bass in near-mint condition and in perfect working order. Imported direct from Tokyo, this now-discontinued limited run instrument was a signature model for Aina Yamauchi of female J-Pop duo Silent Siren.

Featuring a string-through alder body with USA Fender HiMass bridge, V-Mod single coil pickups, USA-made CTS pots, a bone nut, and stunning Seafoam Green gloss finish with matching peghead and competition stripe, this Jazz Bass is utterly unique in its visual presentation and very impressive in its tonal range and richness. The V-Mod Jazz Bass single coils offer plenty of presence and breadth with a sweet treble grind, midrange burp and articulation, and low end heft. Rolling the Tone knob back to taste and favoring the neck pickup yields a broad thump too, while retaining the clarity and glassy note attack afforded the maple fretboard. The bass weighs 9lbs, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with comfortable action, accurate intonation and 45-100 roundwound strings.

The maple neck has a medium depth U-shaped profile carve with full shoulders and lightly rolled fretboard edges, measuring .845" deep at the 1st fret and .955" at the 12th. The maple fretboard has a 9 1/2" modern fretboard radius with flawless medium jumbo fretwire, offering easy playability up the 34" scale with a straight neck and optimally adjusted truss rod. The 1 1/2" wide nut is carved from bone, ensuring optimal note clarity and sustain. The Seafoam Green peghead features gleaming chrome tuning machines that turn very smoothly. The artist's signature is on the back of the headstock, and the four-bolt neck plate is embossed with the Silent Siren band name.

The electronics function flawlessly, and the traditional Volume/Volume/Tone Jazz Bass control array is mounted to a single-ply white pickguard. Hardware includes the HiMass USA-made Fender bridge which accommodates the string through body construction and has notably clean chrome plating. The high gloss body finish is a saturated Seafoam Green accented by a competition stripe with a pattern reminiscent of the serapes of the Native American Navajo tribe. And while Fender Japan classifies this finish as "Surf Green," in reality the finish has the richer, darker shade with a blue cast consistent with Seafoam Green. Cosmetic wear is limited to a couple pinhead-sized dings and a singular line of finish checking on the treble-side lower bout body edge, with scarcely a scratch on the rest of the body. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile is immaculate.

A gigbag is included.
