Up for sale, a 2020 Fender Hybrid ‘60s Stratocaster FSR in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, finished in custom color Burgundy Mist and complete with a hardshell case. One of the finest (and now discontinued) Strat iterations ever produced by Fender Japan, and a model not available in the USA market, the Hybrid '60s Stratocaster is simply stunning in its forward-thinking design and player-friendly features. The guitar features an alder body, thick slab rosewood fretboard, a set of Fender's American Vintage 57/62 black bobbin pickups, USA-spec CTS pots, a two-point vibrato unit, locking vintage-style tuners, larger fretwire, a modern fretboard radius, and a satin neck profile finish.
The perfect marriage of Vintage and Modern, the Hybrid '60 model is true to its name, yet the tonal range of the instrument is firmly in the Vintage camp. The alder body is a resonant, balanced tonal platform for the black bobbin Fender American Vintage 57/62 pickups, which feature staggered, beveled alnico magnets and cloth-covered leads; delivering a clear, sparkling top end, smooth midrange character, and a full yet focused bass that has a nice snap. This guitar weighs 8lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
