Up for sale, a 2020 Fender 70th Anniversary Broadcaster in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original tweed hardshell case, CoA, all hangtags, and case candy. A limited run model, this Broadcaster faithfully replicates the introductory specs of the model that would become the Telecaster by late 1951. This Fender is stunningly well-executed, with a pale nitro lacquer Butterscotch finish, Custom Shop Hand-Wound '50-'51 Blackguard pickups, modern three-way switching, and a vintage-correct U-shaped neck profile carve and a vintage 7 1/4" fretboard radius.

Tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck, this Tele cuts and twangs with the best, delivering plenty of sparkling sonic authority in every pickup position. The three-way switch features modern Fender wiring (Bridge, Bridge+Neck, Neck), and the Custom Shop pickup pair features flush-mounted Alnico III magnets in the bridge position and Alnico V at the neck. The bridge pickup is wound with plain enamel 43 gauge wire, lacquer potted for feedback rejection, delivering a thick, chewy quality with plenty of treble detail and snap. The neck pickup has a bell-like percussive chime, and each pickup position has a lively, vital sound. Weighing 8lbs 14oz, this 70th Anniversary Broadcaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
