Up for sale, a 2020 Fender American Showcase Stratocaster HSS Limited Edition model in showroom-clean condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtags, COA, and hardshell case. This guitar boasts numerous premium features including a Modern “C to D” neck profile carve with a 12" radius and rolled fingerboard edges, a satin finish on the neck profile, V-Mod Stratocaster single coil pickups and a Double Tap humbucker, and a two-point vibrato with bent steel saddles.Tonewoods comprise an alder body, maple neck, and 22 fret slab rosewood fretboard for a clear, balanced natural acoustic sound. The five-way pickup selector switch toggles between the pair of higher output V-Mod single coil pickups and the Double Tap humbucker, which has coil tap functionality via a push/pull Tone pot. The guitar weighs 8lbs 1oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action and accurate intonation.The maple neck has Fender's compound "C to D" profile carve with round shoulders and rolled fretboard edges, measuring .840" deep at the 1st fret and .905" at the 12th. The 22 fret slab rosewood fretboard has a 12" radius and flawless medium jumbo fretwire. The guitar plays effortlessly up the 25 1/2" scale with a straight neck and responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The nut measures a full 1 11/16" in width, and the Sky Burst-finished headstock features Fender-branded Schaller-made tuners that turn very smoothly and hold pitch well.The electronics function as intended, with the pickups governed by a traditional Vol/Tone/Tone Strat control array and five-way switch. The chrome plating on the hardware is positively gleaming, and the two-point vibrato responds to a particularly light touch, offering deep dives and quick flutters. There's barely a scratch on the dense metalflake Sky Burst Metallic gloss finish, and the satin finish on the neck profile is equally pristine.The original hardshell case, hangtags, and COA are included.
