Up for sale, a 2020 Fano Alt de Facto MG6 custom in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original softshell case and factory documentation. Fano guitars are handcrafted in Arizona, USA with premium components and no-corners-cut construction; this Alt de Facto MG6 is a nod to the classic Fender Mustang, hot-rodded with a pair of Lollar El Rayo humbuckers and TonePros hardware, featuring a compound fretboard radius and medium jumbo fretwire on the slab rosewood board. This particular Alt de Facto features a gloss Daphne Blue nitro lacquer finish with light simulated aging.
The tonewood complement comprises an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this guitar is lightweight at 7lbs 5oz. The Lollar El Rayo humbuckers are notably low resistance, designed to have a percussive quality almost akin to a single coil, with increased note bloom and less compression than a standard PAF-style humbucker. They’re exceedingly articulate and punchy, while retaining low end warmth.
