Capturing a sparkling percussive cut and harmonically-rich Rickenbacker 12 string jangle, the 660/12 boasts neck through construction and original Toaster Top single coil pickups. Weighing 7lbs 6oz, this 660/12 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, strung with fresh Rickenbacker-branded strings, and setup with optimal action and spot-on intonation.The maple neck has a D-shaped profile carve with ideal heft and full shoulders, measuring .865" deep at the 1st fret and .910" at the 12th. The notably spacious 1 3/4" wide nut provides the ideal width for players that need a bit more room to navigate the fretboard, and the slender frets are flawless, with triangular inlays that stretch all the way to the fretboard edges, just like the Rickenbackers of the '60s. The headstock features a gold sparkle "Rickenbacker" truss rod cover, and the Ric Deluxe tuning machines turn smoothly with flawless plating.The electronics include individual Volume and Tone controls for each pickup and Rickenbacker's unique fifth knob that provides a smooth gradient for blending in the neck pickup when both pickups are engaged. The 19-prefix serial on the mono jack plate dates to the 25th week of '19. The chrome plating on the hardware shines like new, including the 12 saddle bridge for fine-tuning the intonation.
