Up for sale, a 2019 Paul Reed Smith CE24 Semi-hollow in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original padded case and hangtags. This PRS semi-hollow was a custom-ordered iteration, featuring a flame maple top, maple neck with a Pattern Thin profile, 85/15 treble and bass humbuckers, and a custom color Whale Blue nitro lacquer finish.
The CE24'S semi-hollow construction delivers great natural resonance, with both great note attack and detail as well as a distinctive tonal breadth. The 85/15 humbuckers are essentially an updated version of the original PRS Standard Treble and Bass humbuckers from 1985, balancing vintage character and warmth with modern clarity, and the push/pull Coil Tap at the Tone knob broadens the scope of the tonal palette with single coil-style honk and twang. This CE24 weighs 6lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
