Up for sale, a 2019 Nash T69TL DB Thinline in near mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtag. A USA-made premium T-style platform loaded with Lollar pickups handwound specifically for this model, this T69TL is a unique, upscale iteration of the Thinline platform with a double bound body, heavily figured flame maple top, and semi-hollow ash body. The guitar delivers plenty of natural authority and cut, with the one-piece maple neck and flame maple top ensuring an immediacy and treble detail, while the semi-hollow ash body delivers both an airy warmth and midrange richness. These qualities are channelled faithfully through the Lollar pickups, featuring a Vintage T in the neck position and a Special T at the bridge. The Vintage T offers a full-bodied midrange and clear top end, and it's wound with larger diameter wire for less compression than typical Tele neck pickups. The Special T bridge pickup is wound a bit hotter than a vintage coil, delivering rounder top end, a little more midrange, and more low end while retaining plenty of traditional chewy twang and sparkle. Both pickups feature Alnico V magnets, wax potted for optimal feedback rejection. Lightweight at 6lbs 15oz, this Nash has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, accurate intonation, and low action. The maple neck has a chunky medium depth U-shaped profile carve with generous shoulder in every register and notable heft further up the fretboard, measuring .855" deep at the 1st fret and .990" at the 12th. The maple fretboard has a 10" radius with 6105 fretwire that has vintage width yet appreciably more meat and crown than vintage fretwire. The frets show virtually no wear, playing cleanly up the 25 1/2" scale with a straight neck and responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The Tusq nut measures 1 5/8" in width, and the headstock is signed by Bill Nash on the back, featuring Gotoh-made Kluson-style tuners. The electronics all function as intended, with the Lollar pickups wired to CTS 250K pots. Hardware includes a three-saddle bridge with brass saddles, and flat-topped knurled knobs, all with Nash's aged treatment. The nitrocellulose lacquer three-tone Sunburst gloss finish is accented by a white pearloid pickguard, and deep ripples of curly flame extend liberally across the maple top. Any cosmetic wear is extremely minor (if present) and indistinguishable from the factory relic treatment, with some scattered dings on the body and broad lacquer checking on the back. The neck profile is flawless, worn from the factory to the smooth, bare maple behind frets 1-11.The original brown gator hardshell case is included, along with the original hangtag.
