Up for sale, a 2019 Nash T-63 in near mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtag. A USA-made premium T-style platform loaded with Lollar pickups handwound specifically for this model, this T-63 features traditional tonewoods including an ash body, maple neck and slab rosewood fretboard. The guitar delivers plenty of natural authority and cut, channelled faithfully through the Lollar pickups, featuring a Vintage T in the neck position and a Special T at the bridge. The Vintage T offers a full-bodied midrange and clear top end, and it's wound with larger diameter wire for less compression than typical Tele neck pickups. The Special T bridge pickup is wound a bit hotter than a vintage coil, delivering rounder top end, a little more midrange, and more low end while retaining plenty of traditional chewy twang and sparkle. Both pickups feature Alnico V magnets, wax potted for optimal feedback rejection. Lightweight at 7lbs 6oz, this Nash has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, accurate intonation, and low action. The maple neck has a round medium C-shaped profile carve at the nut with generous shoulder in every register and substantial heft as you travel up the fretboard, measuring .840" deep at the 1st fret and .980" at the 12th. The thick rosewood slab fretboard has a 10" radius with 6105 fretwire that has vintage width yet appreciably more meat and crown than vintage fretwire. The frets show virtually no wear, playing cleanly up the 25 1/2" scale with a straight neck and responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The Tusq nut measures 1 5/8" in width, and the headstock is signed by Bill Nash on the back, featuring Gotoh-made Kluson-style tuners. The electronics all function as intended, with the Lollar pickups wired to CTS 250K pots and a Sprague Orange Drop cap. Hardware includes a three-saddle bridge with brass saddles, and flat-topped knurled knobs, all with Nash's aged treatment. The nitrocellulose lacquer Shell Pink gloss finish is accented by a mint green pickguard, and any cosmetic wear is extremely minor (if present) and indistinguishable from the factory relic treatment. The original brown gator hardshell case is included, along with the original hangtag.
