Up for sale, a 2019 Ibanez PGM333 Paul Gilbert signature 30th Anniversary Limited Edition in mint condition, complete with the molded hardshell case, Gilbert-signed CoA, hangtags and case candy. This rare iteration of the Paul Gilbert signature PGM was produced in limited quantities to celebrate 30 years of the relationship between Ibanez and the Mr. Big/Racer X shredder. Crafted at the Fujigen factory, this no-corners-cut PGM333 features a trio of DiMarzio PG-13 mini humbuckers, Gotoh GTC101 string-through fixed bridge, locking tuners, reverse headstock, and a gloss Gold finish accented by the distinctive painted faux “f holes.”
Tonewoods include an African mahogany body, maple/walnut neck, and 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard. The DiMarzio PG-13 Paul Gilbert signature mini humbuckers were designed to perfectly complement Gilbert’s playing, yielding bright, articulate tones that are exceptionally versatile, whether paired with heavy distortion or left pristine, and these pickups also yield fantastic sustain. The bridge has an ideal balance of clarity, chime, and fullness, the neck is slightly fatter and creamier. The middle pickup features a combination of neodymium and alnico magnets to increase the output of the pickup and enable it to be lowered (out of the pick path) while still matching the output of the other two pickups. This PGM333 weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
