Up for sale, a 2019 Gibson Hummingbird Walnut M in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and factory paperwork. A short-lived and already discontinued model only available from 2018-19, the Hummingbird Walnut M (Modern) features a cutaway dreadnought body with a solid Sitka spruce top, bookmatched walnut back and sides, a maple neck and a Richlite fingerboard. With traditional hand-scalloped advanced X-bracing on the top, the sound is both punchy and articulate. Wound strings are authoritative and taut, with the clarity afforded the Richlite fingerboard, while the plain strings have a round, present quality. The L.R. Baggs Element undersaddle pickup ensures the Hummingbird Walnut M is ideally suited for live performance too. The guitar weighs 4lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 12-54 bronze strings, easy-playing action and accurate intonation.

The maple neck has Gibson's "Advanced Response" neck profile carve; a substantial C shape just shy of “baseball bat” heft, with generous shoulders in every register, measuring .870" deep at the 1st fret and .905" at the 9th. The Richlite fretboard features dot inlay and slender frets which have their full factory height and well-rounded crowns, showing only light wear beneath the B and High E strings on frets 1-7. The guitar plays cleanly in every register up the 25.5" scale, and the neck is straight with a responsive, optimally adjusted truss rod. The Tusq nut measures 1.725" in width, and the headstock features Grover mini Rotomatic tuning machines that turn very smoothly.

The bridge is fitted with a tall, compensated saddle, and the gloss nitro lacquer Sunburst-finished top is accented by a tortoise pickguard with the traditional Hummingbird shape which shows some requisite light pick scuffing across the strum path. The L.R. Baggs undersaddle pickup has a 1/4" endpin jack and discreet mini Volume wheel mounted on the edge of the soundhole. Cosmetic wear is limited to a spot of light buckle rash at the bass-side waist and a few additional small nicks and faint finish scratches on the body as a whole. The gloss finish on the neck profile is flawless.

The original hardshell case and factory paperwork is included.
