Up for sale, a 2019 FGN History Dignity HS-LS electric guitar in showroom clean condition and in perfect working order. Crafted exclusively for the Japanese market at the renowned Fujigen Gakki factory, this History Dignity HS-LS is a top-notch take on the classic LP Standard platform boasting a satin nitro lacquer finish over the two-piece carved flame maple top. The guitar is constructed with American pioneer-era old growth “Heritage Wood” salvaged from the bottom of lakes, offering unmatched integrity and tone. With a solid, non-weight relieved mahogany body, carved maple cap, rosewood fretboard, and stock pair of "Original Vintage" PAF-style alnico magnet humbuckers, all of the essential ingredients are in place. Coil splitting is available for either pickup via push/pull Tone controls, presenting a versatile sonic palette from rich drive to focused single coil snap. The guitar is notably lightweight for an LP-style instrument at 9lbs 2oz, yielding singing sustain with a present, bold natural projection that translates well through the humbucker pair. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this History features low action, solid intonation, and fresh 10-46 strings.

The mahogany neck has a substantial medium C-shaped profile carve with a bit of chunk and generous shoulder, measuring .855” deep at the 1st fret and .980” at the 12th. The bound rosewood fretboard features pearloid dot inlay and FGN’s unique Circle Fretting System with pristine medium jumbo fretwire. The fretwire is imperceptibly curved, installed so that each string and fret intersect at right angles to minimize the contact surface, yielding more accurate pitch, cleaner longer sustaining notes, and truer harmonics. The guitar plays effortlessly in every register up the straight neck with an optimally adjusted, responsive truss rod. The guitar conforms to specs familiar to any Gibson fan with a 24 3/4" scale length, and the oil-soaked carved bone nut measures 1 11/16" in width. The headstock features an inlaid History logo, and the nickel Gotoh Kluson-style tuners turn smoothly and hold pitch well.

On the body, all of the electronics work as they should, with a three-way pickup selector toggle and individual Volume and Tone controls for each pickup. The push/pull tone pots feature individual coil taps for each humbucker, and the wiring harness features braided pickup leads, USA-made CTS volume pots, Bourns push/pull tone pots, and .022 Sprague Orange Drop capacitors. The nickel hardware is gleaming, and plastic parts include the original quartet of amber bonnet knobs and cream pickup rings and pickguard. The clear protective factory plastic is still present on the rear control cavity and switch covers, a testament to the sparingly little use this guitar has seen since new. The satin "VCH" (Vintage Cherry Sunburst) nitro lacquer finish is pristine, highlighting the tight tiger flame figuring that extends liberally across the top.

The original History gigbag is included.
